Apprenticeships Telesales Executive

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time

Working Pattern: Office-based initially, with hybrid working available following successful induction and probation

Are you a confident Telesales Executive, Sales Executive or Lead Generation professional who enjoys speaking to businesses and building new commercial opportunities?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team where you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities for apprenticeship programmes.

You will spend much of your day speaking with businesses, identifying their training needs, creating initial interest and qualifying opportunities for the Business Development team to progress.

The Role

As a B2B Telesales Executive – Apprenticeships, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities through proactive outbound telephone activity.

You will:

• Make high-volume outbound calls to new and existing business contacts.

• Promote apprenticeship programmes and generate initial interest.

• Identify and qualify potential business opportunities for the BDM team.

• Re-engage existing and lapsed clients to uncover new opportunities.

• Follow up leads generated through marketing campaigns.

• Build positive relationships with business contacts and decision-makers.

• Accurately record conversations, activity and opportunities within the CRM.

• Work towards agreed call, sales and KPI targets.

• Keep up to date with apprenticeship provision, funding and relevant sector developments.

• Support targeted telesales campaigns and wider business development activity.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and comfortable making outbound calls.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in B2B telesales, outbound sales, lead generation or business development.

• Experience working towards telephone, sales or performance targets.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Confidence speaking with businesses and building rapport quickly.

• A positive, resilient and target-driven approach.

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage follow-ups effectively.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM or database systems.

• Previous experience within apprenticeships, education or training would be advantageous but is not essential.

• A genuine desire to develop a career within sales and business development.
