Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an Asset Auditing Manager to own and drive the end-to-end assurance process for all non-executable work orders, acting as the authoritative escalation point for operational delivery constraints.

Job Overview

The Asset Auditing Manager is responsible for overseeing the assurance process for non-executable work orders, ensuring operational exceptions are reviewed, challenged, and resolved through robust audit and technical investigation. Acting as the primary escalation point for delivery constraints, the role plays a key part in maintaining service performance and supporting effective operational outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead change control governance activities, ensuring compliance, auditability, data integrity, and risk mitigation across the estate. This role will also focus on identifying improvement opportunities that enhance operational delivery, asset management processes, governance standards, and asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Chair and facilitate Change Control Meetings, ensuring all proposed asset, maintenance, system, and data changes are reviewed, challenged, documented, and progressed through the appropriate governance process.
• Provide functional leadership, coordination, and oversight of Asset Analysts supporting the Change Control process through a dotted-line management structure.
• Manage and oversee all work orders that cannot be executed through standard operational delivery routes.
• Investigate work order failures, rejections, and exceptions to determine root causes and resolution requirements.
• Challenge, validate, and resolve work order failures through audit and technical investigation.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational delivery constraints relating to non-executable work orders.
• Ensure contractual compliance, auditability, governance standards, and data integrity are maintained.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational delivery, asset management processes, and asset reliability across the estate.

Person Specification

• Experience in asset management, maintenance operations, work order management, or technical assurance within a complex estate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve operational barriers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with operational teams, clients, and suppliers.
• High attention to detail, with a focus on compliance, governance, auditability, and data integrity.
• Proactive and resilient approach, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
