Job Description:

Assistant Site Manager – Industrial New Build
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Package

Our client is an established main contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality industrial, logistics and commercial developments across the UK.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of new projects, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a major new-build industrial scheme in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to develop their career within a growing main contractor, working alongside an experienced site team on a substantial industrial development.

The Role:

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the project
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
• Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety
• Assisting with site logistics, sequencing and programme management
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and programme
• Attending site meetings and coordinating with the project team
• Maintaining site records and ensuring construction documentation is up to date

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or experienced Site Supervisor
• Main contractor background preferred
• Experience on industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new-build projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
• Experience working on steel frame projects would be highly advantageous
• CSCS and relevant construction qualifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
