Role: Biology Teacher

Pay: £150-£230 DOE

Hours: 1 Term contract Full Time/Part Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teacher or early careers teacher to work within a secondary school environment. Academics are looking for a qualified Biology Teacher to join a school in Walsall, the school is rated good by OFSTED and has been described as a great place to work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics as part of the secondary Science curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
• Preparing students for GCSE Combined Science and Separate Science exams where applicable
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Delivering practical lessons safely in accordance with procedures
• Working together with colleagues, parents and carers
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, professionalism and student welfare
