Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of New Car Sales Manager at a reputable franchised dealership in Birmingham. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional to step into a leadership position within a well-established main dealer group. The New Car Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated sales team, driving sales performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service in a dynamic automotive environment.

Duties:

• Lead, motivate, and develop the new car sales team to meet and exceed goals
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase dealership profitability
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality as the Car Sales Manager
• Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends regularly
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, finance options, and competitor activities
• Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Provide coaching and support to optimise team performance and individual sales targets

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a New Car Sales Manager or within a similar automotive sales management role; senior sales executives or sales controllers will also be considered
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a target-driven environment
• Full UK driving licence
