Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our industrial services team. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the site, supporting a safe and productive manufacturing environment.

Staffline is recruiting Cleaning Operatives in Hams Hall, Birmingham.

The rate of pay is £14.14 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 2pm to 10:30pm

Your Time at Work

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean manufacturing floors, production lines, walkways, warehouses and communal areas.
- Deep-clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, offices and cafeteria areas.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers and specialist vacuums. Full training will be provided.
- Collect, separate and dispose of industrial and general waste safely and responsibly.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, COSHH regulations and site risk assessments.
- Keep cleaning equipment and machinery clean, safe and in good working order.
- Report any equipment defects or safety concerns promptly.

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience in industrial, commercial or factory cleaning is desirable but not essential.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend and lift as required.
- Committed to working safely in a busy industrial environment.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, including standard operating procedures.
