Job Description:

An experienced Client Commercial Team Leader is required to lead a specialist team responsible for contract renewals, remedial quotations and sales administration from a Birmingham office.

You'll manage three renewal coordinators within a wider nine-person sales division, combining hands-on commercial leadership with team development, client engagement and responsibility for improving renewal and quotation performance.

The Role
 
As the Client Commercial Team Leader, you'll:

• Lead and develop a team managing contract renewals, quotations and sales administration.
• Oversee the end-to-end renewal process and ensure upcoming expirations are proactively managed.
• Review contract terms, pricing adjustments and scope changes ahead of renewal.
• Manage remedial quotations, pricing processes and approval workflows.
• Monitor renewal pipelines, conversion rates, sales performance and commercial reporting.
• Act as an escalation point for complex negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Work with finance and operations to support forecasting, profitability and contract delivery.
• Improve renewal and quoting processes, CRM usage and commercial data accuracy.

About You
 
To be successful as the Client Commercial Team Leader, you'll have:

• Experience within contract management, commercial operations or facilities management.
• Proven supervisory or management experience with responsibility for team performance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, pricing and estimating principles.
• Experience managing contract renewals, quotations or similar commercial processes.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance client requirements and profitability.
• Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and particularly Excel.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fire protection or sprinkler industry experience would be advantageous.
