Complex Care Manager

Location: Wolverhampton (office-based with regional travel across the West Midlands & Shropshire)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Complex Deputy Care Manager to lead and oversee the safe delivery of community-based complex care packages for both adults and children across the West Midlands and Shropshire. You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, person-centred, and compliant care in their own homes.

This position is office-based in Wolverhampton, with regular travel to service users and commissioners. You will work closely with clinicians, ICBs/CCGs, local authorities, families, and our wider MDT, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and coordinate new care packages.
• Maintain existing services, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
• Visit clients regularly, ensuring person-centred care is always delivered.
• Liaise with clinicians and MDTs to review complex care packages.
• Meet with local authorities, ICBs/CCGs, and other professionals.
• Complete and sign off care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit reports to commissioners as required.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to care teams.
• Complete supervisions, appraisals and team meetings
• Support with rota management
• Be part of the On Call rota

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in community or domiciliary care.
• Experience in complex care (ventilation, spinal injury, tracheostomy, acquired brain injury, bowel care, etc.) is essential.
• Proven experience working with both children and adults in complex settings.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.
• Driver with access to a vehicle (essential).
• Ability to work flexibly – some packages may require early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Office-based in Wolverhampton with regional travel.
