Electrician (Social Housing)

Covering: Wolverhampton, Cannock, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent & Walsall
Pay: £1000 p/week + (Self-Employed/CIS)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract: Long-Term Ongoing Work

Experienced Electrician Required – Social Housing Contracts

AllPro Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Electrician to join a team delivering planned and responsive maintenance works across social housing properties throughout the Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for consistent, long-term work on established contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work within occupied and void social housing properties
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
• Replacing sockets, switches, lighting, consumer units and other electrical components
• Installing and upgrading electrical circuits where required
• Carrying out testing and inspection work in line with current regulations
• Completing minor electrical works associated with kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
• Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements
• Completing job sheets and relevant certification accurately
• Delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service to tenants

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• Proven experience working within domestic or social housing environments
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own van and tools are essential
