Job Description:

Estimator - Civil Engineering & Infrastructure
Tamworth | £65,000–£75,000 per annum, depending on experience + company car or car allowance

Help turn infrastructure opportunities into well-planned, commercially sound projects.

We are recruiting an Estimator to join an established contractor’s pre-construction team. You will develop competitive tenders and work closely with engineering, planning and commercial colleagues to shape practical delivery proposals.

The role
• Prepare estimates covering project costs, resources and delivery requirements.
• Assess tender risks and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support clear handovers from tender stage into project delivery.
• Contribute to improvements in estimating processes.

About you
You will have estimating experience and a civil engineering, construction or commercial background. Experience within rail, highways, water or energy would be relevant.

Strong Excel skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing tender deadlines will help you succeed.

The package includes £65,000–£75,000 per annum, depending on experience, company car or allowance, pension and development support.
