Field Service Engineer - Permanent Role
Company location is Kettering Northamponshire - Engineer to be based in the Bromsgrove Area
£35,000 - £40,000 d.o.e + regular overtime,
Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm

Due to constant business demands this is an expansion to an establish technically sound and supportive team of Service Engineers. The company boasts fantastic longevity within their organisation and has proven track record of career progression opportunities.

Duties:

• Attend pre-planned and breakdown visits at clients site.
• Diagnose, fault find and complete maintenance work required (of both a mechanical and electrical nature).
• Installation of machinery.
• Work as a key member within the Service Engineering team and supporting other engineers when required.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Answer client inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly after installation or repair.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of service.
• Completing all relevant paperwork including time sheets.
• Ensure all H&S regulations are always adhered to.

The Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence - Essential
• Relevant mechanical and electrical qualifications minimum of NVQ Level 3
• Field service engineering experience
• Experience of working with Laser Jet, CNC Machining, or Robotics would be ideal
• Sound engineering knowledge of capital machinery - Industrial saws would be beneficial
• Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Having 17th or 18th Edition would be highly advantageous

We would expect the successful Field Service Engineer to be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain and service high quality products by utilising their skills and experience, be an excellent communicator and representative of the company. You will be supported one to one to become familiar with the company processes and procedures.
