Fire Damper Engineer

Salary: £32,000-£36,000 per annum
Location: West Midlands

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to join a growing and established team in the West Midlands. Due to an increase in workload and continued company growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a long-term position with a company that can offer stability and progression.

Duties

• Testing and inspecting fire dampers across commercial and residential sites.
• Carrying out routine fire damper inspections in line with relevant standards and regulations.
• Identifying defects and completing remedial works where required.
• Completing accurate service reports and recording inspection findings.
• Working across a range of client sites throughout the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
• Providing a professional service while maintaining strong health and safety standards.
• Being flexible to work both day and twilight shifts when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer or within a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of fire damper testing, inspection and remedial works.
• Ideally hold knowledge of or a qualification relating to BS 9999:2017.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work day and twilight shifts.
• Willingness to stay away from home when required.
