Internal Sales and Business Development Executive

Lichfield | Office-based | Permanent | Full-time or Part-time

£30,000 – £35,000 FTE + Uncapped commission | Indicative FTE OTE £35,000 – £45,000

Fox Lux supplies high-quality emergency lighting and lighting controls to OEMs and lighting specialists.

We are looking for a confident, persistent and motivated salesperson to help us win new customers and reconnect with businesses we already know.

This is primarily an outbound new-business role, but you will have the opportunity to develop the relationships you create rather than handing over every lead after the first call.

What You’ll Do:

• Research and contact carefully selected prospective customers.
• Use telephone, email and LinkedIn to start conversations, understand needs and identify genuine opportunities.
• Follow up consistently, progressing interest into samples, quotations, meetings and orders.
• Re-engage dormant and lapsed accounts and manage appropriate new and smaller customer relationships.
• Keep an accurate CRM and pipeline, working with field sales on larger or more technical opportunities.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience in outbound B2B sales, telesales, business development or telephone account management would be ideal.
• Lighting experience is not essential; the ability to learn and retain technical information matters more.
• Confidence, persistence and resilience when making outbound B2B calls.
• A warm, credible telephone manner and strong listening and questioning skills.
• Self-motivation, consistent follow-up and good commercial judgement.
• Strong organisation and confidence using CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
• A mature, constructive approach to working in a team.

What We Offer:

• A £30,000 – £35,000 FTE basic salary (pro rata for part-time), plus uncapped commission.
