Job Description:

Tradewind are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join an Outstanding Ofsted-rated mainstream secondary school in South Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate, aspiring teacher or someone looking to start a career in education. Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential - we're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient and genuinely passionate about supporting young people.

You'll work alongside teachers to support students with a range of additional needs, helping them access their learning, build confidence and make progress.

• Support students across KS3 and KS4

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support

• Help students engage with lessons and the curriculum

• Support students' academic, social and emotional development

• Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team

• A caring, patient and approachable personality

• Strong communication skills

• A genuine interest in working with young people

• Someone reliable, proactive and keen to learn
