Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the Wednesbury area.

The successful candidate will support students with a range of SEN needs, helping them access the curriculum, develop their confidence and achieve their potential.

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting

• Experience supporting students with SEN is desirable

• Patient, empathetic and supportive

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Reliable and committed to making a positive difference

• Full-time, long-term position

• Supporting students across the secondary age range

• Working closely with teachers and the SEN team

• Supporting students with a variety of additional needs

• Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate
