Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a well-established and reputable law firm.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar Legal Cashier role within a law firm and possess a strong working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Processing client receipts received in person and over the telephone
• Checking online banking and allocating payments to client ledgers
• Preparing daily banking and arranging bank deposits
• Posting receipts and payments to client ledgers
• Producing weekly new matter reports for Heads of Department
• Preparing Priority and BACS payments and obtaining relevant approvals
• Processing cheque requests through the case management system
• Preparing client ledger and time breakdown reports
• Checking completion statements
• Processing client invoices through the case management system
• Managing purchase ledger invoices and preparing payment runs
• Providing cover for colleagues during periods of absence
• Supporting the Finance Manager with additional duties as required

✅ Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
• Good working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Excel
• Ability to clearly explain financial information
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills
