Locksmith / Carpenter



Location: Dudley and surrounding areas Hourly Rate: £21-£23 per hour Payment: CIS, paid weekly Contract: Ongoing, temporary to permanent

Think Recruitment are working with a council maintenance contractor and are currently looking for an experienced Locksmith / Carpenter to work across council properties in the Dudley area.

The successful candidate will mainly carry out authorised forced entries, lock work and associated carpentry repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out authorised forced entries to council properties.

• Remove, repair and replace locks where required.

• Make doors and properties safe and secure following entry.

• Complete associated carpentry and door repairs.

• Work professionally across occupied and empty properties.

• Complete all work safely and to the required standard.

Requirements:

• Previous locksmith or carpentry experience.

• Experience completing forced entries and lock changes.

• Competent in door repairs and general carpentry work.

• Own tools and transport.

• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.

• Good customer-service and communication skills.

This is an ongoing contract offering weekly CIS payments and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
