Job Description:

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help supervise pupils during their lunch break and make sure they are safe and well supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play
• Helping to maintain a safe and positive environment
• Supporting children with any issues that may arise during lunchtime
• Encouraging good behaviour and positive interactions between pupils
• Keeping an eye on pupils in the playground, dining area and other designated areas
• Dealing calmly and appropriately with minor incidents
• Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff
• Helping pupils follow the school's behaviour and safety expectations
• Supporting the school staff team where required

• Enjoys working with children
• Is friendly, approachable and patient
• Can confidently manage a group of pupils
• Has a calm and positive approach to behaviour
• Is reliable and punctual
• Works well as part of a team
• Has good communication skills
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential

• DBS required
• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• Right to work in the UK
