MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Full Time | Birmingham | 1-in-4 Callout Rota

Our client is an established, nationwide provider of Facilities Maintenance and commercial building services, delivering planned and reactive maintenance solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK.

With a team of experienced engineers and a nationwide operational presence, they provide specialist commercial gas, heating, plumbing, electrical and mechanical services across a range of sectors.

Due to continued growth and ongoing demand for their services, they are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their expanding team in the West Midlands.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their expanding team in the West Midlands.

You will carry out a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, inspection and testing, and minor installation works across a range of commercial properties.

• Carry out planned preventative electrical maintenance (PPM).
• Attend reactive maintenance and electrical breakdowns.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
• Complete electrical repairs and minor installation works.
• Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations.
• Maintain lighting, emergency lighting and electrical distribution systems.
• Fault-find on electrical control systems and associated equipment.

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing – ESSENTIAL.
• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Due to the nature of the role,  a full DBS check will be carried out.

Our client is offering a salary of £42,000–£44,000 per annum, depending on experience.
