Your new role

As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, with particular responsibility for fixed assets, lease accounting and payroll-related accounting activities. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and operational stakeholders, you will ensure robust financial controls are maintained while providing valuable insight into business performance.You will take ownership of key month-end activities, revenue and cost reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis and stakeholder engagement. The role will suit an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working within a fast-paced, complex business and is confident partnering with budget holders to improve financial performance and drive efficiencies.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a commercially minded and proactive finance professional who enjoys building relationships across the business and using financial information to support decision-making.You will have previous management accounting experience within a larger organisation and possess strong analytical capabilities alongside excellent stakeholder management skills.What you'll get in return
Skills & Experience (Essential)

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position.
• Experience working within a large or complex organisation.
• Strong month-end accounting experience.
• Experience preparing and posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Experience supporting fixed asset accounting.
• Exposure to lease accounting.
• Payroll accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Desirable

• ERP system experience.
• Experience within an asset-intensive environment.
• Previous business partnering exposure.
• Experience driving process improvements and efficiencies.
