Job Description:

Management Accountant | Wolverhampton | Up to £39,000

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? We're hiring for a growing finance team based in Wolverhampton, offering the chance to own a broad range of core finance processes and make a real impact on business reporting and compliance.

The Role:

• Bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecasting
• Sales ledger management, credit control and customer credit vetting
• Month-end close and quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing management accounts — accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations
• Fixed Asset Register and depreciation
• Cost of sales analysis, WIP review, stock verification and valuation
• Supporting annual budgeting and statistical reporting
• Producing daily/weekly/monthly reports for senior management
• Driving process automation and improvement

What You'll Need:

• AAT qualified (or equivalent) — essential
• Proven experience in an accounts department
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills, self-motivated and analytical
• Expert knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
• Working knowledge of VAT regulations and UK GAAP

Desirable:

• CIMA (newly qualified)
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Sage Line 50 / Payroll experience

Salary: Up to £39,000
