Procurement Business Partner - Facilities Management 

Location: Solihull Area / Hybrid

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join a major UK projects and facilities operation, supporting a substantial capital projects programme across a diverse national portfolio.

This is a highly visible role where you'll act as the link between procurement and operational delivery teams, ensuring projects achieve best value, supplier performance, commercial compliance and successful delivery outcomes. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams and supply chain partners to influence strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement across procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and sourcing activities across capital projects and planned works programmes.
• Drive value for money, operational efficiency and supplier performance improvements.
• Manage tendering processes and competitive procurement exercises.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support supplier onboarding, governance and compliance requirements.
• Work alongside project, commercial and operational teams to mitigate risk and ensure robust contractual arrangements.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation initiatives across the supply chain.
• Champion supplier relationship management, innovation and best practice procurement processes.

About You

We're interested in speaking with procurement professionals who can demonstrate:

• 5+ years' procurement experience within construction, capital projects, engineering, infrastructure, property or FM environments.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract negotiation skills.
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships and strategic sourcing activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
• Knowledge of project procurement and supply chain management.
• CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous.
• Experience within public sector, construction or large outsourced service environments would be beneficial.
