£43,680 Basic + £1,575 Standby + Door-to-Door Travel Pay

A well-established refrigeration service business is looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to its Birmingham team.

This is a mobile position covering commercial sites across the area, working on a mixture of refrigeration equipment for customers across sectors including retail, healthcare and education.

The company has been established for more than 25 years and has built its reputation around technical standards, reliability and keeping hold of good engineers.

You'll be out on customer sites carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive work, including:

  Servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems
• 
  Diagnosing and repairing faults
• 
  Working on cold rooms, freezers, chillers and display equipment
• 
  Completing planned preventative maintenance
• 
  Responding to breakdowns as part of the call-out rota

We're looking for someone with a solid background in commercial refrigeration who is comfortable working independently and dealing directly with customers.
You'll need:

• 
  Commercial refrigeration experience
• 
  F-Gas certification
• 
  Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning would be advantageous
• 
  CO? experience is useful but not essential
