Job Description:

Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber – Midlands Team

£32,000-£36.000 + Benefits + Van (private use)

Environmental Consultancy who specialises in the Health and Safety sector are actively looking for a Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber to join their Midlands team covering a range of remedial and legionella compliance duties for commercial clients including Offices, Retail, Education and Healthcare within a 90-minute radius.

Typical work for the Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber will include

• Ensuring all sites are in line with ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Maintaining hot and cold-water systems, pipework and related plumbing works.
• Duties – pipework modifications, TMV installs, deadlegs/removing redundant pipework, booster pumps and tanks.
• Undertake legionella compliance where needed – water sampling, tank monitoring/cleans, TMV servicing.
• Maintaining site logbooks.

To apply for the Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber role the following experience is required

• Be a fully qualified plumber working on commercial sites
• Have experience in remedial plumbing with knowledge in legionella compliance (water hygiene)
• Full driving license and willingness to drive to multiple sites
• DBS cleared

The Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber will receive a full benefits package, opportunities to cross train into other sectors including risk assessing (fire & legionella) and asbestos and have clear paths to progress within the team developing their technical understanding and taking on more responsibility.
