Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding Primary School within a large and successful Multi Academy Trust in the Solihull (B91) area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Site Manager to join a welcoming and supportive school community. The role is available on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The school prides itself on providing an outstanding learning environment and is seeking a dedicated professional who can ensure the site remains safe, secure, compliant and well-maintained at all times.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school premises
• Ensuring the school site is safe, secure and fully compliant with health and safety regulations
• Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance checks
• Organising and supervising contractors on site
• Completing minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Managing security systems, alarms, locks and access control
• Supporting site improvements and maintenance projects
• Ensuring school grounds are maintained to a high standard
• Assisting with emergency call-outs when required

Essential Criteria

✅ Previous experience working as a School Site Manager within a UK school setting is essential. Applications without UK school experience will not be considered.

✅ Experience managing health and safety compliance within a school environment

✅ Strong practical maintenance and facilities management skills

✅ Excellent organisational and communication skills

✅ Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and use initiative

✅ Commitment to maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors

Desirable Criteria

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Experience working within a Primary School or Multi Academy Trust
• Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements within education settings
