Are you passionate about driving environmental excellence on major infrastructure projects?

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Sustainability Manager to oversee environmental management and sustainability strategies for a single-site flagship project in Birmingham. This key role involves ensuring compliance, leading improvements, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver environmentally responsible infrastructure.

The Senior Sustainability Manager will:

• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance of the project's Environmental Management System (EMS) and related standards.
• Lead environmental audits, investigations, and reporting to ensure best practice and legal compliance.
• Drive carbon reduction strategies and support BREEAM certification processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, supply chain, and project teams to embed sustainability into all aspects of delivery.
• Monitor environmental performance, manage risks, and promote innovative environmental solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong practical knowledge of environmental management and ISO 14001 standards.
• Proven leadership experience within large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and producing reports.
• Membership with recognised environmental professional bodies such as CIEEM, CIWEM or ISEP.
