Job Description:

This position gives the right candidate the opportunity to work in the UK and worldwide on inspiring customer projects with state-of-the-art products and technology.

Key Accountabilities

• Commission, repair and carry-out preventative maintenance on all models of our clients induction equipment
• Support the use of our clients rental equipment at customer locations

• Continual learning and development on our clients systems providing knowledge to project teams, sales teams, and customers.

Requirements:

• Has a higher academic qualification in electronic/electrical engineering
• Completed vocational training in an engineering discipline
• Will provide onsite support in power stations, foundry and factory environments, and on offshore installations
• Full UK Driving License
• Based in the UK service workshop (Mon-Fri, 0800-1600)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Professional Experience:

• Experience working in a service role in industrial working environments
• Capability to work both individually and as part of a dedicated team
• Awareness of semiconductor components and their characteristics
• Proficiency in component level electronics repair and mechanical assembly/disassembly
• Knowledge of technical terminology
• Has practical experience of 230V and 415V mains voltage equipment
• Is computer literate as part of daily working tasks
