Sports Coach – Secondary School
Location: West Bromwich
Full-Time, Part-Time & Flexible Opportunities Available

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Sports Coach to join a secondary school in West Bromwich, supporting pupils across the school both in lessons and through wider sporting activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, physical activity and working with young people. The school is open to applicants looking for full-time, part-time or flexible work, making this an ideal role for experienced Sports Coaches, graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with a strong sporting background.

The Role:

• Supporting PE lessons and sporting activities across the secondary school
• Encouraging pupils to participate in physical activity and develop their sporting skills
• Supporting pupils both in and outside of lessons
• Helping to promote teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour
• Potentially supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and lunchtime activities
• Working alongside teaching staff to provide a positive and engaging environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• A genuine passion for sport and working with young people
• Any previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial
• Sports coaching, PE, school or youth work experience is desirable but not essential
• Graduates with a sporting background are encouraged to apply
• Reliable, enthusiastic and confident when working with pupils
• Able to build positive relationships with young people
