Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Wolverhampton | All Levels | Projects up to £5m

A well-established, family-run Electrical contractor based in Wolverhampton is looking to appoint an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The business delivers large-scale commercial and industrial projects across the UK, with individual project values up to £5 million. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are open to Quantity Surveyors at all levels, from Assistant through to Senior.

The Role:

You will play a key role in the commercial management of electrical packages across multiple projects, supporting delivery teams from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

• Commercial management of electrical projects from award to final account

• Preparing and managing valuations, variations, and cost reports

• Subcontractor procurement, payments, and account management

• Cost forecasting and cash flow management

• Supporting tendering and pre-construction where required

• Working closely with Contracts Managers and Project Teams

• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets

Requirements:

• Background in Electrical / Building Services Quantity Surveying

• Experience within commercial or industrial projects preferred

• Open to Assistant, Intermediate, or Senior level candidates

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management ability

• Relevant construction / quantity surveying qualification (preferred but not essential)
