Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 + Pension + Benefits

Shift Pattern: Double Days 6am-2pm, 2pm-10am

Location: Redditch

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s instantly recognisable manufacturers, who are an international employer with over 45 years’ experience, specialising in the production of plastic products for the construction industries using plastic blow moulding technology.

KEY SKILLS

• Electrical: Fault finding on PLCs, AC/DC drives, AC/DC three phase motors, pumps and temperature control panels.

• Mechanical: Replacing bearings, gearboxes, drive belts, pulleys etc.

• Fluid Power: Troubleshooting high-pressure hydraulic circuits and pneumatic systems safely.

The Role

Diagnose and repair faults on extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, a compound plant, chillers, compressors, and ancillary equipment under tight time pressures.

This role also involves various PPM tasks and project works. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
