Job Description:

Multi Trader
A new opportunity has arisen to work for a housing provider as a Multi Trader on a permanent basis.
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties. The role involves travel between properties, with work allocated as close to your home location as possible.
Pay Rate:

• £34,000 per annum - Permanent

Duties Include

• Carrying out responsive repairs and void refurbishments within social housing properties.
• Completing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs within agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied homes.
• Using PDA/mobile devices to manage and complete work orders.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed works and materials used.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.

Skills Required

• General multi-trade experience within social housing, maintenance, or property services.
• Ability to undertake basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, painting, and decorating.
• Experience with kitchen and bathroom repairs.
• UPVC repairs and general maintenance works.
• Ability to identify defects and carry out remedial repairs.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
