Purchasing Coordinator

£30,000 - £33,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is looking for a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join an established manufacturing business in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for a strong administrator with previous experience within a manufacturing environment who is confident working with suppliers, systems and detailed information.

Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Managing supplier orders, quotations and delivery schedules
• Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
• Updating ERP/MRP systems and monitoring material requirements
• Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing and issues
• Supporting stock control, logistics and purchasing administration

Ideal Candidate:

• MUST have previous administration experience within a manufacturing environment
• Exceptional organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident using Excel, ERP/MRP systems and general IT
• Commercially aware and confident communicating with suppliers
• Proactive and able to take ownership of issues and find solutions
