Job Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils / Infrastructure

Location: Tamworth
Sector: Civils / Infrastructure
Salary: 70k + Car Allowance

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established infrastructure business working on a long-term rail civils framework.

You will work directly with the project team, managing the commercial performance of several projects at once.

You will also have the support of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously
• Manage applications for payment, CVRs, forecasts and final accounts
• Manage variations, compensation events, early warnings and contractual notices
• Lead subcontractor procurement and commercial management
• Monitor cost, cash flow and project performance
• Liaise with clients, project teams and supply chain
• Provide commercial support and guidance to junior team members

About You

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within rail, civils or infrastructure
• Experience working across multiple projects or frameworks
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts
• Asset management or maintenance framework experience desirable
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant Quantity Surveying / Commercial qualification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Working Arrangements

The role will cover the Southern area of the wider framework, with travel required across the region.
