Role: Customer Care Co-Ordinator
Location: Solihull
Salary: Up to £28,000 p/a (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Linsco are delighted to be working alongside our client, a well-established civil engineering specialist, who are looking to recruit a Customer Care Co-Ordinator to join their busy team at Head Office in Solihull, on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, confident and approachable individual with a strong background in customer service and administration to join a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with residents, clients, subcontractors and internal operational teams, you will be responsible for coordinating reported defects from initial receipt through to completion, ensuring works are actioned efficiently and customers are kept informed throughout the process.

• Record, manage and monitor customer defects from initial report through to completion.
• Plan and co-ordinate remedial works with the operational and technical teams.
• Communicate effectively with residents to arrange and support the completion of works.
• Follow up outstanding works to ensure defects are resolved and closed out efficiently.
• Liaise with technical teams regarding drainage remedial works.
• Provide regular updates on live and outstanding works to relevant stakeholders.
• Attend monthly meetings with Contracts Managers to review and follow up live defects.
• Support Contracts Managers with regular updates across live sites.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ensure concerns, complaints or issues are identified and escalated appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all customer care activity is handled professionally and efficiently.

• Previous experience within a customer service or administration role.
• Excellent telephone manner with strong interpersonal skills.
• Confident and approachable when dealing with customers and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
• Professional and trustworthy, with a high level of confidentiality.
• Accurate and thorough in your approach to administration.
• A positive team player who can work effectively with different departments.
• Good general reasoning and decision-making ability.
• Knowledge or experience of construction or civil engineering would be desirable.
