Job Description:

Sales Support Officer – Specialist Lending 
Birmingham | Hybrid working | £30,000–£35,000

We’re working with a specialist lender to recruit a Sales Support Officer for its Birmingham team.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll support lending opportunities from initial enquiry through to handover to the Lending Team. This is a varied role combining customer contact, project assessment and sales administration, working closely with developers, brokers and colleagues across the business.

The role

• Handle incoming enquiries, providing a responsive and professional service.
  
  
• Review and qualify new lending proposals.
  
  
• Prepare indicative lending terms and communicate decisions and next steps.
  
  
• Follow up on outstanding offers, helping progress accepted deals towards credit checks and underwriting.
  
  
• Maintain accurate customer records and keep the deal pipeline up to date.
  
  
• Support improvements to the customer journey and attend industry events when required.
  
  

About you

You’ll bring experience in sales support, sales administration, business development, lending or a similar customer-facing role, alongside strong administrative, verbal & written communication skills and an organised approach.

You’ll be comfortable assessing information, working with figures and managing documentation accurately. Attention to detail, confidence using CRM systems and the ability to build relationships will help you succeed.
